As I was thinking how to address some of the upcoming subjects, I was struggling how to be describe it. Comes across like you are hitting a wall on which way to move forward. Being a high school security guard comes with many expectations that really are not fun or either enjoyable. Moving forward I will be taking each of the below topics and writing in upcoming blog post. There is no way I could cover all of this in one post. I really want to do each subject justice.
As I write these subjects below – I will be addressing what a high school security guard looks for, attempts to do before hand and any action that is needed. With some of the subjects there are some key things that parents can look for as well (at home or when the young adult is out and about).
What are the not so fun or enjoyable items in the job? These are not in any particular order…
- Fights
- Extreme disrespectful students to staff and other students.
- Stealing
- Vaping/Smoking
- Drugs
- Alcohol
- Dress Code
When you look at this list, you can sit and wonder what is happening in school today. If you truly are honest with yourself, just remember back to when you were in high school. I am not saying that you or your friends were involved in these activities, but you know they happened way back then.
